Cloud's web desktop is a concept of having your desktop on cloud and all you need is a web browser. It's one of the evolution of cloud computing space and could evolve into a reality, taking us back to the dump terminal over web :).
Eyeos is one of the open source product i found interesting in this space, demo you can try with. Developed on PHP, XML and Javascript, you can upload and work with your files irrespective of the location and it also provides 67+ applications to work with.
